Who makes the engines for Kubota?

Kubota Engine America build and engineer their own Kubota diesel and spark ignition engines as well as LPG-fuelled, natural gas fuelled, and dual fuel engines.

Kubota Engine America’s headquarter is based in the small village of Lincolnshire, Illinois and has been creating engines since the 1990’s. By 1998, the 100,00th engine in the US was built. Kubota are now expanding their global manufacturing footprint across the entire world, including Japan and China.

How long do Kubota engines last for?

If you have bought a Kubota engine from a legitimate stockist brand new, you will receive a warranty guarantee. The warrantee for industrial engines usually last for 2 years or 2,000 hours, depending on which one happens first. However, major engine components come with a longer warranty of 3 years or 3,000 hours, again depending on which happens first.

Whilst the warranty has a time stamp on it, this doesn’t mean that your engine will die before or when it reaches the set time. if you provide the correct maintenance to your engines and follow all of the recommended advice given, your engine could well last up to 10,000 hours!

Are Kubota diesel engines reliable?

Looking at all of the diesel engines across the world, it is stated that some of the highest-rated engines are the Kubota’s! With an expected operation time of 5,000 hours, if they are properly maintained, fluids topped up, and oil changed regularly, they can last up to 10,000 hours!
