Industrial Engines Exhibition Review

It’s already been 2 months since Industrial Engines exhibited at a biannual quarrying exhibition in Buxton. Hillhead 2022. After a long-anticipated wait with Covid-19 postponing it twice, it finally went ahead in June, and we have been reaping the benefits ever since.

Our stand boasted a wide range of diesel engine makes and models that we have ready to dispatch as soon as you order. We know how important it is to our customers to have the stock available, so downtime is minimal.

We had an incredible 3 days networking with both customers and suppliers and getting to know new people in the quarrying industry. The machinery that was being exhibited on neighbouring stands was truly amazing and served us a reminder of how important what we do is. Supplying engines for Industrial Equipment.

Since Hillhead, we have made a concerted effort to get in touch with the many valuable contacts we made whist showcasing our products. This has resulted in us being further established in the engine community and allowed us to get more insight into what our customers need from us. We’ve learnt that even some of the smaller litre engines can have a large impact on a company if the engine breaks down and often costs the company money every hour of downtime.

In an effort to always have what our customer needs and wants, we have an all-time high amount of stock ready to dispatch including CAT, Deutz, Lister, Kubota and many more. If its just parts that are needed, a recent development has meant that we have doubled our parts stock and have even more capabilities to help you in your time of need.

Our “exhibition favourite” diesel engine was the Lister Petter PH2 that intrigued a large amount of people and bought many a nostalgic conversation to our stand! With Lister Petter being our starting point as a company in the 1970’s it was amazing to see how they are still widely used today.

Hillhead 2022 was a huge success for Industrial Engines, and we hope to showcase even more diesel engine variety at the next one, Hillhead 2024, as we expand our customer and product base over the next two years.
