How Much Fuel Do JCB Engines Use Per Hour?

Statistics show that the newest models of JCB Diesel engines consume as little as four to five litres each hour during medium to intense workloads.

This has therefore improved the fuel efficiency and utilisation by 12%, meaning they are more cost effective and evironmentally friendly.

Why Are The Majority Of JCB Vehicles Yellow?

When JCB was founded on 23rd October, 1945, the founder,Joseph Cyril Bamford decided that the biggest priority of this machinery is safety.

Therefore, when it came to deciding on the colour, they settled on a bright colour which will certainly stand out on a quarry or building site. This colour was the famous JCB Yellow we all see and know today!

Whilst many machines are the classic yellow, the other two common col0urs are green and red.

How Can I Maximise The Life Span Of My JCB Engine?

JCB engines are known for being durable and long lasting, however there are ways to ensure that you get the most out of your JCB machinery.

Firstly, we highly recommend that you keep on top of regular services for your engine which will ensure that there are no issues lurking under the surface which can lead to much larger and costly repairs.

Secondly, for your engine to last as long as possible, we suggest that you use only legitimate JCB lubricant and oil to avoid the incorrect types or cheaper alternatives which will not offer the same level quality.

Lastly, did you know that your JCB equipment can be overhauled and rebuilt to extend their life span!
